I discovered Redbubble by accident looking at the local camera club group on Flickr, which led to their web site where some members had links to Redbubble.
(I’m not actually a member of the club as I don’t have time).
I don’t know why I never heard of this site before. Photography is a passion, and I also paint when I get a chance.
I don’t know whether I’ll manage to sell anything or not, but the fact that this site provides the opportunity is great. If I do sell, I can invest in better equipment or on travel to capture more images. If not, well I have my day job.
I tend to be fairly self critical, and comparing my preferred subject landscapes, to others I’ve seen on here, I’d say I’m not bad, but I’m not in the mindblowingly fantastic league by a long shot. I’m not sure whether I’m lacking in equipment, post-processing or something else. I know the basic rules of composition, camera operation and so on, but I’m wanting to move beyond ‘nice’ to ‘wow’.
